What we do
Wildlife Aid Estonia is an independent nonprofit organization that was launched in 2025.
We aim to rehabilitate wildlife – birds, mammals and everything else that we have the capability of taking in. We are currently building up our organization, thus admission of new patients is paused and only counselling can be provided.
Besides rehabilitating, we educate the wider public on wildlife problematics and increase awareness about the field.

In case of finding a wild animal in need of help, don’t hesitate to contact our organization at info@metsloomaabi.ee.
You can also seek initial counselling on the topics of wildlife from the Estonian state helpline +372 600 1247 which operates on a 24/7 basis. Since it is not manned by wildlife experts, we recommend asking for species-specific advice from a nonprofit like us.
Our e-mail is open for all kinds of other enquiries as well (volunteering/collaboration/research proposals etc). For volunteering in our organization, basic knowledge of Estonian is preferable.

Our nonprofit is solely based on volunteers and all our operations are funded by donations from the public. Donations, both monetary and material, are greatly appreciated and allow us to provide the best diet and conditions for our patients.

What are the donations used for?
What are the donations used for?
For covering all the expenses associated with rehabilitating wildlife: veterinary visits, pharmaceuticals, feed, dietary supplements, various items, cages, capturing devices, transportation costs etc.
For covering the administrative fees of the organization, for example accounting, mobile and IT services.
For keeping our knowledge and skills up to date: purchasing books and online publications as well as attending events related to our field.
